We had our poly B pipes replaced. This company was priced well, the drywall that was cut out was clean and marked. They laid down dropped sheets to protect our floor and it was very efficient where the drywall had to be cut so you don’t have too many holes. They redirect where the new pipes go was very precise . The plumber was also nice enough to corrected any updates needed to be for the new system. We were surprised to find a huge ant nest in ceiling when the insulation was removed , but the workers acted so professional and vacuumed it all up and carry on with their job. The 2 workers that was here for a week was so pleasant and respectful. I had some correspondence through emails and yet it was promptly answered. We have nothing but praises for this company, and highly recommend them 100%. Thank you!!!

Just prior to us leaving on a trip in the morning I realized our hot water tank was leaking. I called John G. Plumbing and they were immediately able to put a plan in place and I had a new hot water tank installed by lunch. I was blown away by the speedy and expert service. They also took my old tank away. Saved the day!

I looked for a month for a plumber. All were late to answer back and changed qoutes from original. I was frustrated! Then I read an ad by John G Plumbing. I called they answered and made an appointment for a week away due to my prior commitments. John showed up on time and after his daily work was done. He looked at what I wanted done. The quote was right on. I hired him and he showed up on time and worked solidly for 2 days. He was exceptionally good and a rare human being. Can’t thank you enough John and his wife for getting my work done on time on price and great people👍👍👍

I discovered that my home had a mix of Poly B and PEX piping with the Poly B being the main under slab supplies to various parts of the house and a mix of Poly B with PEX tied in to the various bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room etc., also the main supply to the house was Poly B.. Due to the numerous failures of Poly B and the potential future insurance issues we decided to have all Poly B and older PEX replaced including to main water supply line from the meter in the front yard to the house. John came highly recommended from a a number of friends and also from the on line reviews. He came by promptly to review the house and what it would take to replace all of the water lines, he was extremely thorough and discussed various options and was very open in incorporating my wishes where practicable ( I said I want to know its all been replaced but when completed I don't really want to visually see it has been done!). He presented various options and said that quite a few folks do not replace the main line to the house but it was my wish to replace that also, which would mean disturbing the front yard and cutting into the garage floor. John presented a fair priced quote and schedule of four days to complete the work including the main supply replacement. So let me say John G will likely not be the cheapest quote you may get, but this is my assessment after the work was completed and most of the time, I think you get what you pay for hopefully. Before we started down this replacement I had no experience or connection with John G Plumbing but thought you might be interested in an honest unbiased review of this work and the process involved, not for the faint of heart to be honest !! - His quote is clear and concise clearly showing what is included and what is not. - He recommended Nanaimo Excavation to do the excavation and concrete cutting, who were exceptional. - John and Jay showed up exactly on time, they layed protective floor covering inside the house in all areas they were going to work and the routes to those locations - They covered all furniture etc. with poly. - They diligently got to work cutting out drywall sections as required and started running the new piping and isolating and removing the old -At the end of each day he was meticulous at cleaning up any mess made and refused help in doing so - He incorporated the latest code requirements and even ran a recirculation line, just in case it was required with the longer routing than the original underground lines, if it was not needed no issue but if it was the line was there. - They only water supply disruption (shutoff) within the house throughout the four days was a couple of 10 minuted intervals on the first three days and for about 7 hours on day four while the new main supply was installed from the meter. We were expecting and planning for much longer disruptions, with water buckets and supplies in place, so again great job. -All work completed as scheduled after four days, John and his team are extremely knowledgeable, diligent with a great work ethic and completed the work with good humour All in all I can highly recommend John G and his plumber Jay plus the other excavation and concrete (Double D) contractors they all work extremely well together to give me the customer great service on this job for a fair price.
