Living in the heart of Coombs, John G Plumbing Inc. has quickly become a trusted name in plumbing, gas service, and home renovations. Since moving to the area in 2019, owner John and his family have been bringing their philosophy of transparency, trustworthiness, and fairness to homes and businesses throughout the community one happy customer at a time.
For John, plumbing is more than a trade it’s a passion he’s honed for over 30 years. He founded the business back in 2013 on the mainland, inspired by the hands-on creativity and satisfaction of solving problems for people. “I like to describe plumbing as Lego,” John laughs. “You’re building something, you’re solving puzzles, and you get to help people every day. There’s nothing better than a happy customer at the end of the day.”
When he and his family relocated to Coombs, they brought with them not just expertise but a heartfelt commitment to the local community. As John puts it, his biggest inspiration in life is “looking after my community and my family while continuing to grow as a person.” That philosophy carries through every job he takes on.
What really sets John G Plumbing apart is how much of a family affair it is. Everyone in the household plays a role in keeping the business running smoothly. John’s wife Gabi handles paperwork and dispatch, ensuring operations stay organized. Their 12-year- old son Jano pitches in after school by cleaning and organizing the work van, while eldest daughter Mimi helps with admin duties when needed. Even their middle daughter Gabika, currently studying in Europe, stays connected by managing the business’s social media presence from afar.
“It really is a family business everybody chips in,” John says proudly. That sense of teamwork and family pride shows through in their customer service, making every client feel like part of the extended family too.
